Patricia Nunis graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1979 with a Bachelor’s in Social Science. In 2002, Patricia graduated from Universiti Malaya with an MBA specializing in HRM and Organizational Development. She also has a Certificate in Training Management and a Diploma in HRM. A certified NLP practitioner, holding an internationally recognized certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Patricia enriches her training design as well as, effectively serves as a life coach to interested clients.

In August 2008, Patricia became a Certified Professional Facilitator -  a certification granted by the International Association of Facilitators.  The IAF focuses on content free facilitation -  believing in drawing out the wisdom from the group and enabling processes that assist groups to come to consensus.

Patricia incorporates facillitation into workshops and believes strongly that facilitation is the way forward for working with management and leadership teams.

Areas of Expertise

Patricia has over 20 years of experience in the areas of community development, counseling, education and personal development.

1979-1981 Served as Social Care Coordinator in the UNCHR-MRCS Vietnamese Boatpeople Programme in Malaysia. Patricia coordinated welfare programmes and was responsible for delivery of related supplies to camps on the East Coast of Malaysia and in Kuala Lumpur.

1981-1989 Administrator and Counsellor in a church based non-governmental agency known as Pusat Kebajikan Good Shepherd, working with women and girls in rehabilitation centres in Ipoh, KL and Singapore.

1989-1994 Joined the corporate sector and served as a Training Officer in an international bank. Designed and delivered training in supervisory development, workplace counselling, teambuilding, and quality customer service.

1994-2001 Set up corporate training department as the Training & Development Manager in a premier private healthcare facility in the Klang Valley. She played a key role in the set up of the ISO9002 training guidelines and was instrumental in the training of staff to convert from terminals to windows based operating systems.

2001 to present Self-employed as a corporate training consultant working with other agencies to provide leadership, customer service and personal development interventions and workshops.

Affliations

Patricia is an Associate Member of the Malaysian Institute of Management and a member of the International Asssociation of Facilitators. Patricia attained the status of Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) from the International Association of Facilitators on 26th August 2008.
