THE SERVICE JOURNEY
Providing service in different situations and organisations is a continual challenge. The Service Journey provides 4 programmes targeted at the different stages of service delivery capability within a community, team or organisation.
1. Developing Service Leadership>(Managers & Team Leaders)
Built on the concept of Servant Leadership as developed by Robert Greenleaf, the approach invites leaders to first review themselves and how they relate to their followers and colleagues โ having as its premise that only when individuals are clear about their own mission and beliefs โ can they lead effectively.
The programme may be tapered to suit the organizational and leadership needs of corporate bodies, non-governmental agencies, as well as community groups
2. Service With A Heart(Level 1)
This programme presents the world of service from a fresh perspective, leading individuals to a deeper realisation of how their service activities have a direct impact on their lives and their families. It provides them with a new sense of balance of work and life, and, an appreciation of the importance and value of their work.
Ultimately it fosters improved productivity and committed performance.
3. C.A.R.E.for My Customers(Level 2)
This programme is geared to deepening the level of service skills by sharpening communication abilities through the use of neuro-linguistic programming methodologies.
The desired outcome of this programme is enhanced skill levels and greater flexibility in using communication and service approaches in customer encounters, with the intention of promoting an atmosphere of care based on the attitudes of concern, attention, responsibility and empathy (CARE).
4. Easy Customer Encounters(special situations)
Every service organisation has its share of difficult customer encounters. Due to this, service personnel need to be skilled to meet these situations and promote easy customer encounters.
The outcome of this programme would be individuals that are confident and skilled in handling difficult encounters. Individuals are provided with guidelines and speech patterns that will be helpful โ and simulations to practise these skills.
